Objective

You will write 30 sentences, in total. Please number each section, one through seven.
Instructions
Part A: Key Elements of Sentence Construction
1. Variety of Sentence Types: Compose three sentences, each representing a different sentence type: simple, compound, complex, and compound-complex. Highlight the variety in your writing.
2. Concise Writing: Create five sentences, each conveying the same idea. Start with a wordy sentence and revise it to be concise. Explain your choices.
3. Active vs. Passive Voice: Write four pairs of sentences. In each pair, one sentence should use active voice, and the other should use passive voice. Explain when you might choose one over the other.
Part B: Common Sentence Construction Errors
4. Ambiguity: Craft a sentence that contains ambiguity or multiple interpretations. Then, rewrite it to remove ambiguity, explaining the changes you made.
5. Faulty Parallelism: Create a sentence with faulty parallelism. Rewrite the sentence with proper parallel structure, emphasizing the impact on clarity.
Part C: Tips for Effective Sentence Construction
6. Transitions: Write three sentences, each on a different topic. Incorporate appropriate transitional words or phrases to enhance coherence between sentences.
7. Sentence Length: Compose one sentence that is exceptionally long and another that is very short. Explain the intended effect of these sentence lengths on the reader.
